Personal Training Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Personal Training (PT) services provided by Bond Performance / Bond Athletic (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “the client”).

By purchasing or participating in Personal Training services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Personal Training Services

Personal Training sessions are delivered by qualified coaches and may include strength training, conditioning, mobility, and education. Programming is designed based on the information you provide, your goals, and your current ability.

2. Medical Clearance & Health Disclosure

You acknowledge that:

  • You are physically able to participate in exercise.

  • You have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, injuries, illnesses, or pregnancies prior to commencing training.

  • You will inform your coach of any changes to your health or physical condition.

We recommend seeking medical clearance before starting an exercise program if you have any concerns.

3. Assumption of Risk

You understand that physical training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strains, injury, or cardiovascular events.

By participating in Personal Training, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with exercise and training activities.

4. Payments & Packages

  • Personal Training sessions must be paid for in advance.

  • Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable unless required by law.

  • Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

To ensure fairness and respect for coaches’ time:

  • A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be forfeited.

  • Exceptions may be considered at our discretion for genuine emergencies.

6. Session Expiry

  • PT packages may have an expiry period (typically 3–6 months).

  • Unused sessions beyond the expiry date may be forfeited unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Lateness

  • If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.

  • Sessions cannot be extended to make up lost time due to lateness.

8. Coach Availability

  • We reserve the right to substitute your coach where necessary due to illness, leave, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • If we cancel a session, it will be rescheduled or credited.

9. Results Disclaimer

While we provide professional coaching and guidance:

  • Results vary between individuals.

  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes related to strength, fat loss, performance, or health.

Your results depend on consistency, effort, recovery, nutrition, and lifestyle factors outside our control.

10. Gym Rules & Conduct

You agree to:

  • Follow all gym rules and coach instructions.

  • Use equipment safely and respectfully.

  • Treat staff and members with respect.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate training if behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive.

11. Minors

Clients under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

12. Photography & Media

With your consent, we may use photos or videos taken during sessions for educational or marketing purposes.
You may opt out at any time by notifying us in writing.

13. Privacy

All personal and health information is handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

14. Liability Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Bond Performance / Bond Athletic, its owners, coaches, and staff from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in Personal Training services, except where caused by negligence under Australian Consumer Law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always apply.

16. Acceptance

By purchasing Personal Training services or attending sessions, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.

  • You agree to be bound by them.
